I did this my homeschooling art class when were learning about Eadweard Muybridge, the first photographer to captured images in speeds fast enough to show the individual motion of a horse running. The rocket project looks really cool. Excuse me for being a complete idiot, but please post the american equivalent of 160gsm, a4. I think that's 10lb, 8.5x11 paper. That doesn't sound right at all. Darn. I should have paid attention in math class.

I downloaded the Zoetrope pdf and tomorrow we will follow the directions and have some fun thanks to your kindness. oh yeh...about the paper rocket, i built it and it was a bit wierd and it was alright, it got up to 6 feet which is alright and i'm proud of it,,, I FANCY shauna in my english and maths class

I enjoyed working on the rocket kit. Elmer's Craft Bond is good for treating the corners of the bellows on the rocket kit to make them more durable--this glue is very flexible when dry. The nose cone needs a slight bit of weight to move the center of gravity forward for stable coasting. I used 1 cm of fine electronics solder, which I coiled up and glued inside the tip. Only a small amount of ballast is needed to make the rocket stable--about the weight of a small shirt collar button.

I printed the paper rocket for my pupils to make as an activity during science Club. They enjoyed it. So did my colleagues and I. Is it possible for me to have a copy of instructions for making the Climbing Santa Claus robot. It looks interesting.

I made your zoetrope and loved it. But wouldn't it work better if the colors were slightly different, with the outside all black and the inside all white? I made the bottom section of the outside black and it was much easier to focus on the picture inside. Thanks for all the inspiration!

Built one. Grandkid's loved it. Had two build two more to keep the peace. Extrememly rugged...nearly boy-proof. A little complex for kid's to build, but they catch on to the techniques for high flights right away. Thanks for a wonderful toy.

Dude, your zoetrope sucks. I can't get it to work. My entire class did zoetropes for a project, and no one could get it to work. With 15 people trying it and failing, that's pretty bad. I recommend you improve the model.
